Health & Wellness
At OMJ Foundation, led by Mr. Osei Mensah Joseph, health and wellness are more than essential needs — they are fundamental rights that anchor our mission to uplift generations. Our Health & Wellness pillar is dedicated to ensuring that individuals in the Akuapem South Municipality — especially young people — have the knowledge, care, and support needed to thrive.
Many youth in Akuapem South live under challenging conditions, facing the far-reaching effects of limited healthcare access, inadequate education on well-being, and a lack of supportive systems. This reality is precisely why our foundation places health and wellness at the heart of sustainable development and generational empowerment.

Our Purpose
Through this pillar, we aim to break cycles of preventable illness, raise awareness of physical and mental health, and equip communities with the resources they need to lead healthier lives. We believe that strong, healthy individuals build strong, thriving communities.

Our Approach
We adopt a compassionate yet strategic approach that blends education, direct support, community outreach, and advocacy.
Our initiatives focus on:
• Promoting menstrual hygiene and women’s health – Free Distribution of Sanitary Towel
• Supporting mental and emotional well-being
• Encouraging active lifestyles and sports engagement
• Providing resources to prevent common diseases
• Building community awareness around holistic wellness
• Strengthening health education in schools and local communities
Our methods reflect our broader mission: generosity, empathy, and collective action that ensures no one is left behind.
Impact & Commitment
Since 2022, the OMJ Foundation has provided meaningful support to young women, middle-aged individuals, and the elderly across Akuapem South Municipality. Our health-related initiatives — including the Menstrual Hygiene Drive, Eye Screenings and free spectacle lenses for the elderly, Breast Cancer Awareness and Screenings, Random Hospital Bill Settlement (RHBS), and more — continue to create measurable and lasting change in communities that need it most.
As we work toward empowering 4,000 people by 2035, the Health & Wellness pillar remains a cornerstone of our vision. Our commitment extends beyond addressing urgent needs to creating long-term opportunities for healthier, more resilient generations.

Join Us
We invite individuals, partners, and organizations to stand with us as we champion accessible healthcare, health education, and community well-being. Together, we can build stronger communities and a brighter, healthier future for the next generation
